The first time I laid my fingers on a piano I was around 12 years old. I played classical piano for a few years but gave it up due to lack of interest. However, a few years later I was introduced to the intriguing world of synthesizers and I've been hooked ever since. I was immediately fascinated by the great number of different sounds you could create with a synth. Not only could you emulate almost any existing instrument, you could also create sounds that no other instrument could. Nowadays you have almost endless possibilities to create interesting and atmospheric soundscapes and the only true limitation is your imagination.

Another reason for the keyboard being such a great instrument is that you can incorporate it in almost all genres of music. I enjoy a wide variety of different music genres ranging from metal and progressive rock to electronic and classical music. I enjoy listening to any music, regardless of the genre, that inspire me in some way.
